Tasker is an app based on AndroidOS which focuses on performing user-defined actions based on contexts (application, time, date, location, event, gesture) activated by click or time-based home screen widgets. It is possible to expand it using plugins from the developer and third-party apps. Although the paid version is available on Google Play, a 7-day free trial version is downloadable as an apk on the website. The trial version does not allow restoring backups.
Tasker has over 300 actions to allow you to customize your phone and turn it into a smart assistant in your pocket. You can send a text message, create a notification, change settings like Wifi, Bluetooth, Dark Mode, Display, Volume, do not display, control music playback, find a location, and so many others.
